Hood River Zen Sitting Group
What: Two 30-minute sitting meditation periods (zazen) and a short walking meditation (kinhin) followed by tea/discussion
A monk from Dharma Rain visits once a month to lead the group
When: From 3:00 to 5:00pm on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. See Calendar for dates
Please arrive in time to be on your cushion when the ringdown bell ends at 3pm. If you're late, you may enter quietly through the 5th St door of the building. Thanks
Where: Cascade Acupuncture, located in downtown Hood River at 5th and Cascade
Off-street parking is available behind the the building
There is no charge. Donations are welcome.
Extra meditation cushions and benches are available for your use
Those who find sitting on the floor uncomfortable are welcome to use chairs
If it's your first time with us, please come 10-15 minutes early for a brief orientation
